Alcohol by Volume (ABV)

An estimated ABV requires two readings in order to measure: the gravity of your must before fermentation begins, as well as the post-fermentation gravity. Fruit and other additives that add sugar, liquid, or change the volume may affect the accuracy of this measurement.
